Experimental investigation on granite cutting by means of diamond frame saw

چکیده

A series of sawing experiments on granite was carried out to explore the cutting performance a diamond frame saw with horizontal reciprocating mode. model average thickness chip established and characteristics forces were analyzed. The wear mechanism segments revealed by analyzing width kerf morphology segments. results demonstrated that resistance increased feed speed. changed abruptly at reversing point during cutting. Meanwhile, proportion macro-fractured pulled-out particles mean rate speed, protrusion height less than 100 μm. reduced gradually progress, forming cone is wide top narrow bottom. Furthermore, investigations proved remains consistent in two directions (y, z). An increasingly apparent phenomenon protruding appears side surface segment increase research can provide certain data support for lay foundation subsequent optimization equipment.
